Clearing your CACHE on a Mac

Safari

To learn more about clearing your cache in Safari, visit Apple Support.

  1. In the Safari menu bar, click the Safari option.
  2. Select the Preferences link.
  3. In the Preferences window, click the Advanced tab.
  4. At the bottom of the window, select the Show Develop menu in menu bar checkbox.
  5. Return to the Safari menu bar and click the Develop option.
  6. Select the Empty Caches link.

Chrome

  1. On the browser toolbar, click the Chrome menu icon.
  2. Select the More Tools link.
  3. Select the Clear browsing data link.
  4. Use the drop-down menu to select the time range you want to clear browsing data.
  5. Clear browsing data by selecting checkboxes. Select the Cookies and other site and plug-in data and Cached images and files checkboxes.
  6. Click the Clear Browsing Data button.

Firefox

  1. In the Firefox menu bar, click the Firefox option.
  2. Select the Preferences link.
  3. Click the Privacy tab.
  4. Under the History heading, click the clear your recent history link.
  5. Select the Cache checkbox. You can select multiple checkboxes for other browser information to clear as well.
  6. Click the Clear Now button.

 

Clearing Cookies on a Mac

Delete Cookies in Safari on Mac

  • Go to the “Safari” menu choose click “Preferences”
  • Now choose the “Privacy” tab
  • Click on the “Remove All Website Data” button, it will be next to “Cookies and other website data”
  • Confirm the removal to delete all the cookies from the Safari browser

Delete Cookies in Firefox on Mac

* Click on the ‘Firefox’ menu
* Navigate down to ‘Preferences’ and click
* Click on ‘Privacy’
* Click ‘Show Cookies’ or ‘Remove Individual Cookies’ button, depending on Firefox version
* Click ‘Remove All Cookies’

Now your cookies are deleted in Firefox!

Delete Cookies in Chrome on a Mac

  • Go to the “Chrome” menu and choose “Preferences”
  • Under the “Settings” section, click on ‘Advanced’
  • Choose “Clear browsing data”
